I eagerly turned right to that article and was pleased to see that the article was written by an Austin garden blogger, Bonnie Martin, who I had the pleasure of meeting this past spring at the <a href=\"http:\/\/gardenbloggers.wordpress.com\/\">Garden Bloggers Spring Fling<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The article is a good read. It provides an interesting overview of garden blogging, along with links to some excellent garden blogs, and a nice photo of Bonnie working on a garden project with an inset image of her garden blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/kissofsun.blogspot.com\/\">Kiss of Sun<\/a>, home page.<\/p>\n<p>My favorite quote from the article is this one:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Reading the blogs of other gardeners constantly offers me new knowledge on plants, ideas on overcoming challenges in the garden and an appreciation for other garden designs. This online community has become my gardening club.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t agree with Bonnie more. Reading garden blogs, and commenting on them, even if you don&#8217;t manage a blog of your own, is so educational and enjoyable. It is one of the most satisfying activities that I regularly engage in.
