Perhaps it is because I really like greens and cole crops, but I usually get pretty good production from warm weather crops in the fall as well. Even though it doesn&#8217;t feel a whole lot like fall here yet, I decided it was time to go ahead and get my fall garden planted.<\/p>\n<p>I planted several varieties of squash and peppers a couple of weeks ago, and they are now blooming. No fruit is setting yet.<\/p>\n<div class=\"captionfull\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/imageshome\/squashfall07.jpg\" title=\"squash in raised beds\" alt=\"squash in raised beds\" vspace=\"10\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Squash in Raised Beds<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>A couple of days ago I started planting my greens and broccoli. I chose broadstem chard and packman broccoli since I have had such good luck with those varieties in the past. I also included several types of organic lettuce.<\/p>\n<div class=\"captionfull\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/imageshome\/greensbedfall07.jpg\" title=\"squash in raised beds\" alt=\"greens in raised beds\" vspace=\"10\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Greens in Rasied Bed<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>I have another wagon load ready to plant this evening when it gets cooler.<\/p>\n<div class=\"captionfull\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/imageshome\/veggiesinwagon.jpg\" title=\"squash in raised beds\" alt=\"veggies in wagon\" vspace=\"10\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Veggie Seedlings<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>I love these dwarf zinnias. They have volunteered in several areas of my back yard, and they have bloomed steadily all summer. My job has been keeping me very busy, and I spend the rest of my time trying to keep control of my garden.
