What a thrill. I love discovering new native plants growing on our land. I immediately fetched my camera so I could get some close up shots of the bloom and foliage to help me identify it. It took some doing, but I finally identified it this morning as a<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bio.utexas.edu\/courses\/bio406d\/images\/pics\/pas\/passiflora_tenuiloba.htm\"> passiflora tenuiloba<\/a>. It is a diminutive little flower, but quite beautiful with subtle greens, yellows, and mauves.
