Isn&#8217;t Drew Brees incredible!) starting to pull away from the crowd (a little), all sure signs that Christmas and Winter Solstice are approaching. This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite times of year for many reasons. But, there is also the painful reminder of my father&#8217;s passing in December 2001.  Life is beautiful and bittersweet.<\/p>\n<p>I am trying to finish up a project at work so I can take some time off over the holidays, consequently I haven&#8217;t been able to get all of my holiday decorations up yet, but I did want to share some preliminary photos. I still struggle to take decent inside pictures with our digital camera, but hopefully you will enjoy a little of the warmth of our home in early winter. Ron has also done a great job of lighting on the outside of the house, and I will be taking some photos of the exterior in the next few days, so &#8211; stay tuned for more holiday cheer and warm wishes from our house to yours.<\/p>\n<p>Here are photos of our Christmas tree and a table top Christmas village vignette.
