This rose, The Sunny (Rosa Radsunny) has been on my wish list ever since I saw an advertisement for it in Fine Gardening magazine last winter. I would never have thought to look at Whole Foods for roses though. The one on the east end is surrounded by a New Dawn rose, a red Knock Out, a Flame Acanthus, and a Blackfoot Daisy, and the one on the west end is adjacent to the Copper Canyon Daisies with some lilac colored Budleia in the back of the bed.<\/p>\n<div class =\"captionfull1\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lostvalleygardens.com\/LVGblog\/imageshome\/sunnykobed.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Sunny Near the Arbor<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class =\"captionfull1\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lostvalleygardens.com\/LVGblog\/imageshome\/sunnykobed2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Sunny Under the Redbud<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>It got down to 29 here last night, but I didn&#8217;t see any major damage to any of our new plants (we had most of them wrapped in row cover fabric). The esperanza had the most leaf damage of any of our mature plants, but not enough to be a problem.
