It’s finally Saturday, and I’ve been out in the vegetable garden all morning spreading mulch. The heat finally got to me though, and drove me inside. I’m really getting tired of this heat….
I pulled out my cosmos plants to make room for more greens and broccoli plants. The green beans are coming out next. I’ll take some pictures when I get all the mulching and planting done.
As you may have noticed, I have a new image on my masthead. It’s a picture of McKittrick Canyon, Guadalupe Mtns National Park, Texas, which I purchased from Jeremy Woodhouse. I was looking for images of the Texas Hill Country, and I found a link to Jeremy’s site, pixelchrome.com [1] on the Bamberger Ranch website [2]. If you enjoy fine photography, his site is definitely worth checking out. He has many beautiful landscape and nature images, as well as many other incredible shots of interesting subjects from all over the world. If I could take shots even half this good I would feel accomplished!

Hi Dawn. Thanks for the positive feedback! I’m planning on changing my masthead photo seasonally, and Jeremy has offered to let me look through his ‘extended’ portfolio (pix not posted to the pixelchrome site) to select my winter, spring, and summer themes. Pretty cool!
