Fall Crops Are in the Greenhouse

Well, it may be 100 degrees outside, but it is a cool 80 degrees in our greenhouse at the north end near the evaporative cool wall. All of my transplants are doing very well, and should be ready to put in the ground in early September. Take a look at some of the plants we have growing now.

Along with the verbenas are Snowcrown cauliflowers, Dwarf Red Plains Coreopsis, Brown Eyed Susans, Standing Cypress, Mexican Mint Marigolds, and White Yarrow.

Finally, we also have native Wisteria, Big Beef and Celebrity tomatoes, Packman broccoli, and vincas.

Oh yeah, I couldn’t resist adding this picture of our Knockout Rose. The picture is a little over-exposed, but the plant is beautiful.Time to go water plants now.Look for more posts regularly.
