We got more snowfall yesterday than I have ever seen in Texas. It was absolutely lovely, and gave me a chance to see my gardens in a whole new way. Here are just a few of the shots that I took while dodging silver dollar sized snowflakes.
It’s hard to believe that I was working in the courtyard gardens at lunchtime yesterday, it was near 80 degrees and I was sweating, and by the time I went to bed last night it was snowing. When I got up this morning, it was right at freezing, and there was still snow laying around everywhere. The temperature actually dipped for a while around 8 am, and the snow stuck around all morning in most places. I took a few photos just before I went to work this morning.
I chose the seed varieties below for the late winter garden. I love the new Seeds of Change seed packaging. It is much easier to use, waterproof, re-sealable, and environmentally friendly. I am thrilled by my first attempt at taking night time photos of our outdoor holiday lights. The new front yard landscaping looks good even in the dark. Peace.
