Finally Settled In!

It is hard to believe that it has literally been years since I have updated my blog. There are many reasons for this, and so much has happened since my last update, that I can’t begin to cover it all. The (very) short story is that we have relocated to a lovely two acre homestead in the little village of Morrisville, Vermont. Our plan all along was to establish a small urban farm or community market garden, and we have the perfect place to do just that! I plan to spend some time updating our web site this year, but since it is prime gardening time here I thought I would just start with a short update first.

We spent our first spring and summer here remodeling and updating our house and getting familiar with our land and everything that is growing on it and the soils we have to work with. We then spent the next year trying to get Ron healthy and back on his feet. Now, in our third year here, we are finally building our vegetable gardens. The work is going slowly, but I am savoring every minute! It is such a joy to be gardening with Ron again. We have big plans which I will relate as I get time. Meanwhile, hello again and here are a couple of pics of our new gardens.
