CSA Farm

Organic Homestead – SOLD

It is with both excitement and some sadness that I share with you the news that our farmstead is now officially for sale. We are sad to be leaving our home, friends and family, but we are excited to begin our ‘retirement’ adventure in Vermont (stay tuned for future installments).

UPDATE: We have just changed brokers, so our previously referenced listing information is changing. I will provide our updated broker and listing information as soon as I have it. Meanwhile, if you are interested in our property please leave a comment to this post and I will have our new broker contact you.

UPDATE (June 6, 2014) We have our property listed again with our new agent, Grant Whittenberger. Grant was an excellent fit for us since he and his family live in our neighborhood and were members of our CSA farm for the past couple of years. There is a new virtual tour of the house and property which is quite nice, and Grant has more details on his web site.

UPDATE: (July 23, 2014) Our farm is being sold to a lovely family who intends to continue small-scale organic farming!

I hope that we find someone to buy our place that loves it as much as we do.

Just had a call from a realtor wanting to show our farm this afternoon! Wow! Let the showings begin.

Blessings to All

  1. Oh wow, the house looks gorgeous. So sorry to hear that you guys are moving. My little Mexican Buckeye I got from you guys during a Garden Blogger gathering is still keeping on, keeping on (still little, but then you guys had grown it from seed, and I have it in a spot where it doesn’t get much sun)

  2. I remember you taking a buckeye at Pam’s Go Go three years ago. It’s cool that it still survives. We are sorry to be leaving and excited to be retiring. Bittersweet.

  3. Best of luck at finding the right person – beautiful place, Carol, and a very cool video to show it off.

  4. Thanks Kathy. I know that if we are patient we will find the right buyer. It is hard to let go of our home, but it will be easier if we find someone who will love it as much as we do.
