		<description>There was a segment on a local show recently where they were visiting the butterfly gardens at the LBJ Wildflower Center, and they were saying that there haven&#039;t been many butterflies here this year. I think they said that it wasn&#039;t unusual to have fluctuations from year to year in the butterfly population here. I don&#039;t recall what the factors related to the fluctuation were though.

I have seen alot more honey bees this year. That has to be a good sign.

		<description>You know, now that you&#039;ve mentioned it, I haven&#039;t seen many butterflies either this summer, and I have a garden filled with lantana, verbena, and other butterfly plants.  Strange.</description>
